Wolfgang Oehry, painter & musician
Oils, drawings & digital art
Wolfgang Oehry Painting: Faceless Retirement Painting: Helen Painting: Paco de Lucia Painting: The Loss Painting: Old Man Painting: Little Ballerina I’m a native of the Principality of Liechtenstein and have painted since I was a boy, in spite of being color blind and with no artistic education. However, when most of my early paintings were destroyed in a flooding, I gave up painting for 20 years. Only when a dear friend asked me to paint her old father (old man with cane), I started painting again. Since then I have produced a number of oils, some of which have been in juried Art exhibitions and are also on this website. One of my latest is “Faceless Retirement” on the right. Being also a musician, guitarist and vocalist, I painted the great Flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia, trying to capture his dedication and passion to his music. The little Ballerina, who is getting ready for her etudes, is one of my personal favorites.
